Ace of Cups
Ace of Water · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- new love, an open heart, compassion
- Reversed
- blocked emotions, emptiness
Upright meaning
The beginning of a feeling, an open heart, and emotional fullness. The Ace of Water announces a new love, a friendship, being deeply moved, or a surge of compassion and intuition. Like Mia's jug, which poured out more water than it could hold, this card speaks of a feeling bigger than you expect.
Reversed meaning
Blocked emotions, sadness, emptiness, or giving to others when you yourself are running dry. Time to fill your own cup.
Love and relationships
A new love, falling in love, deepening feelings, sometimes news of a baby or a new family member. Reversed: emotional distance, unrequited feelings.
Work and money
Working with people, creativity, satisfaction from what you do from the heart. Reversed: no joy in your work, emotional burnout.
The card's advice
Open your heart. The feeling that is coming is real.
In Natuland
The beginning of a feeling: a cup that overflows without end, like the little jug from which Mia, at the school dance, poured more water than it could ever have held. The element of water comes when the heart is ready.
Symbols on the card
- A hand from a cloud holding a cup: the gift of feelings.
- Five streams of water: an abundance of emotions flowing freely.
- A white dove: love and gentleness.
- Water lilies: an open heart.
