Two of Swords
Two of Air · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- indecision, stalemate, avoidance
- Reversed
- information overload, a choice made
Upright meaning
A difficult choice, a stalemate, avoiding a decision. The Two of Air speaks of the moment you cover your eyes so you don't have to choose, keeping a fragile balance. Like the blindfolded Anatuasca at the edge of an island of Neya, you feel the choice can't be avoided.
Reversed meaning
The decision is finally made, or the opposite: information overload and paralysis. Take off the blindfold and look at the facts.
Love and relationships
Being torn between two people or two paths, a frozen conflict, avoiding a difficult conversation. Reversed: breaking the deadlock.
Work and money
A dilemma, two offers, a decision put off. Reversed: a choice after long thought, the end of the limbo.
The card's advice
Take the blindfold off. Not choosing is also a choice.
In Natuland
A blindfolded Anatuasca sits on a stone bench at the very edge of an island of Neya, with nothing below her but a sea of clouds. Anatuascas are neutral and take no side, but sometimes a moment comes when a choice cannot be avoided.
Symbols on the card
- A blindfold: avoiding the truth, or listening within.
- Two blades crossed over the chest: guarding the heart, and a stalemate.
- A crescent moon: intuition pointing the way.
- The edge of the island above the clouds: the point where a decision must be made.
