Five of Swords
Five of Air · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- conflict, defeat, a hollow victory
- Reversed
- reconciliation, letting go
Upright meaning
Conflict, a victory at too high a price, ambition above relationships. The Five of Air asks whether being right is worth it if you lose people. Like the woman with an armful of blades as others walk away from her, the card speaks of a dispute in which victory may turn out to be empty.
Reversed meaning
Reconciliation, letting go, a wish to end the dispute, or regret after a quarrel. Time to reach out.
Love and relationships
Quarrels, fighting to be right, words that hurt. Reversed: apologies, an attempt to mend the relationship.
Work and money
Conflict in the team, rivalry without rules, foul play. Reversed: the dispute resolved, getting out of a toxic situation.
The card's advice
Ask yourself whether this victory is worth its price.
