Nine of Cups

Nine of Water · a card from the Eutheum deck

Upright

contentment, wishes fulfilled

Reversed

dissatisfaction, smugness

Upright meaning

Contentment, a wish come true, comfort, and joy in what you have. The Nine of Water is known as the wish card: it says that what you long for has a chance of coming true. Like the host in a hall full of fruit and candles, the card speaks of satisfaction and abundance.

Reversed meaning

Excess, smugness, or a wish fulfilled that doesn't bring happiness. Sometimes also a desire that is still ripening.

Love and relationships

Happiness in the relationship, a dream of love fulfilled, the joy of being together. Reversed: expectations that hide what is actually there.

Work and money

Success, plenty, a goal reached. Reversed: overspending, resting on your laurels.

The card's advice

Make a wish. This card says it may come true.
