Seven of Wands
Seven of Fire · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- defence, perseverance, standing firm
- Reversed
- overwhelm, giving up
Upright meaning
Defending your opinion, your position and your values. The Seven of Fire says you have achieved something valuable and now you need to hold on to it. Like the lone defender on top of the red rock, you have the advantage, but you have to guard it and not let yourself be pushed off.
Reversed meaning
Weariness from constant defending, feeling overwhelmed, wanting to give up. Sometimes it's worth choosing what is really worth fighting for.
Love and relationships
Defending the relationship against outside pressure, or fighting for your place in it. Reversed: exhaustion from conflict.
Work and money
Competition, defending your position or idea, setting boundaries. Reversed: losing confidence, giving ground.
The card's advice
Stand by what you believe in, but choose your battles.
In Natuland
A lone defender stands on top of a red rock in the middle of the steppe, fending off the burning staffs of attackers below. Whoever has taken the higher ground must hold it.
Symbols on the card
- A defender on top of the rock: an advantage that must be defended.
- Staffs pointing upwards: opposition from every side.
- A firm stance: resolve and courage.
