Eight of Wands

Eight of Fire · a card from the Eutheum deck

Upright: speed, movement, swift news
Reversed: delays, haste

Upright meaning

Swift movement, news, and matters suddenly picking up speed. The Eight of Fire announces that what you are waiting for is about to arrive. Like the eight burning staffs cutting across the sky above the steppe, events are flying towards their target: messages, journeys, solutions.

Reversed meaning

Delays, haste that leads to mistakes, or chaos when too much happens at once. Slow down and set priorities.

Love and relationships

A fast-growing feeling, a message from someone important, love at first sight. Reversed: misunderstandings, silence on the other end.

Work and money

Quick progress, an offer, a decision, a business trip. Reversed: hold-ups, late payments.

The card's advice

Act while things are gathering speed. The opportunity won't wait.

In Natuland

Eight burning staffs cut across the evening sky above the steppe of Sonin Valley like comets, heading for the Treul Mountains. In Natuland news and events can arrive suddenly and speed everything up.

Symbols on the card

Staffs flying in one direction: speed and movement.
Fiery trails: messages already on their way.
A village below: a place the change is about to reach.
