Temperance

The Training House · a card from the Eutheum deck

Upright

balance, moderation, patience

Reversed

excess, imbalance

Upright meaning

Balance, patience, and blending opposites into a harmonious whole. Temperance speaks of the golden mean, healing, and reaching your goal calmly. Like the Training House between dimensions, where power is mastered step by step, the card reminds you that mastery comes from regularity, not haste.

Reversed meaning

Imbalance, going too far one way, impatience, or a conflict that can't be reconciled by force. Time to regain moderation.

Love and relationships

Harmony, compromise, a relationship in which both sides adjust. Healing of the relationship is possible. Reversed: imbalance, quarrels, emotional extremes.

Work and money

Calm, steady growth, good cooperation, sensible money management. Reversed: overwork, financial chaos, too much at once.

The card's advice

Look for the golden mean and act patiently, step by step.

In Natuland

A place on the border of two dimensions. From the outside it is a little house of wood and limestone; inside, a huge bright hall with a fountain of geometric shapes, where water laughs at gravity. The strangest creatures meet here. This is where the champions learn to master their power, while time on Earth stands still.

Symbols on the card

• An angel pouring water between cups: blending opposites into harmony.
• One foot in the water: balance between the world of feelings and the world of matter.
• A triangle on the chest: spirit and moderation.
• Irises: hope, and messengers.
• A path into the mountains with a crown of light: the goal that patience leads to.
