The Chariot tarot card (The Tretuga) from the Eutheum deck

The Chariot

The Tretuga · a card from the Eutheum deck

Upright
determination, victory, drive
Reversed
lack of direction, scattered energy

Upright meaning

Determination, moving forward and victory through focus. The Chariot is the will that steers opposing forces in one direction. Like tretugas, which read their rider's intentions, the card says the direction depends on what you truly want. When you know where you're going, obstacles give way.

Reversed meaning

No direction, scattered focus, loss of control, or stubbornness that drives you into a wall. Forces are pulling in different directions. Time to stop and regain a clear goal.

Love and relationships

A relationship in motion: a shared goal, overcoming difficulties, someone determined to fight for you. Reversed: a struggle for control, each pulling their own way, haste instead of closeness.

Work and money

Success through persistence, promotion, winning a competition, a business trip. Reversed: spreading yourself over too many goals, burnout from the rush.

The card's advice

Choose one direction and hold the reins firmly, but calmly.

In Natuland

Tretugas are the mounts of Natuland, with three pairs of legs, lent by the hospitable Nubytes. They sense the rider's intentions, so they need no reins, but they are terrified of fire. On their backs the group crosses the stony steppes of Sonin Valley.
