Four of Pentacles
Four of Earth · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- security, saving, control
- Reversed
- greed, possessiveness
Upright meaning
Saving, security, but also clinging to what you have. The Four of Earth speaks of a need for control and stability that can turn into fear of loss. Like the crowned Moglin who has everything but is afraid to let anything go, the card asks whether you are protecting, or already imprisoning.
Reversed meaning
Loosening control, generosity, opening up, or the opposite: uncontrolled spending. Look for a healthy middle.
Love and relationships
Possessiveness, jealousy, holding your partner too tightly, fear of change. Reversed: opening up, trust.
Work and money
Saving, financial stability, caution. Reversed: stinginess or extravagance, a need for balance.
The card's advice
Hold on to what matters, but don't clench your fist so tight that nothing new can come in.
In Natuland
A crowned Moglin sits on stone steps, clutching his discs: one on his head, one against his chest, two under his feet. Behind him the crystals of Matadayana gleam. He has everything, but is afraid to let anything go.
Symbols on the card
- A disc pressed to the chest: attachment and control.
- Discs under the feet: security built on possessions.
- A crown and a disc on the head: thoughts circling around what one owns.
- A crystal city in the background: wealth that can become a prison.
