King of Pentacles
King of Earth: Erol · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- wealth, enterprise, security
- Reversed
- greed, materialism
Upright meaning
Success, wealth, stability and generosity. The King of Earth has built something lasting and shares it with others. Like Erol, king of the Moglins, who can be wary of strangers but, once he offers someone his friendship, says "my home is your home", the card speaks of plenty joined with loyalty and hospitality.
Reversed meaning
Greed, stubbornness, control through money, or dependence on status. Wealth becomes an end in itself.
Love and relationships
A stable, caring partner who provides security. Reversed: materialism, possessiveness, coldness.
Work and money
Business success, wise investments, leadership, prosperity. Reversed: risky decisions for profit, rigidity.
The card's advice
Build plenty, but open your door to those you trust.
