Ten of Wands
Ten of Fire · a card from the Eutheum deck
- Upright
- burden, responsibility, overload
- Reversed
- release, delegation
Upright meaning
The weight of responsibility, overload, too many duties at once. The Ten of Fire says the goal is close, but you are carrying more than you need to. Like the traveller bent under a load of staffs on the road to the village, it's worth asking what you could put down, or hand to someone else.
Reversed meaning
Shedding the load, delegating, saying "no". Or the opposite: an overload so heavy it threatens a collapse. Time to lighten the load on purpose.
Love and relationships
Someone is taking too much on themselves in the relationship, a sense of duty instead of joy. Reversed: a conversation about sharing the load.
Work and money
Too much work, responsibility beyond your strength. Reversed: delegating tasks, relief, dropping what isn't needed.
The card's advice
Put down what isn't yours to carry. The goal will come closer.
In Natuland
A traveller bent under a bundle of burning staffs walks a dusty path across the steppe to a Nubyte village. The goal is close now, but he is carrying more than he should.
Symbols on the card
- A heavy bundle of staffs: burden and responsibility.
- A bent figure: overload.
- A village at the end of the road: a goal that justifies the effort, though it may be worth handing over some of the weight.
